The truth is, no matter how accomplished a chef and teacher you are, talented professionals are always looking for easier and more effective ways to share recipes that adapt to modern ways of life, namely on-the-go living. I have always been a believer in having so called “go-to” recipes, those special and secret creations that taste like you made it all from scratch, yet whipped it together in no time at all.
As an ex-restaurant owner, chef, working wife and mother, I know how unrealistic it is for every ingredient to be freshly picked and organic, or prepared without the help of commercial kitchen equipment and a staff of 20. Do you really have the time or energy to prepare some of the recipes we find in cookbooks or websites that boast of artesian food prepared in 5 minutes?
This blog is for sharing ideas, simplifying, having fun and will hopefully help you in your daily life in some way, shape or form. My goal is for all of my readers to take away some ideas they can claim their own, and really impress loved ones in just the right situation with a little help from their back pocket.
